A lot of the mutations we are seeing in house plants result from tissue culture. In breeding, sports are usually kept while plants with issues are thrown out. In my opinion, a lot of the leaf shapes are not worth putting on the market.

I would really like a video in depth about Leaf Lux. What type of things are in it, how it works, etc. I know its actual recipe would be proprietary. I know Kaylee Ellen says her fertilizer is supposed to have cal mag, etc. Hers isn’t available to try in the US. Does it have anything that promotes rooting? Sometimes I mix a little rooting hormone in with my nutrients when first adding cuttings to their first semi hydro home. I have also wondered how its ingredients might compare to a big competitor, FoliagePro 9-3-6. I’ve recently stopped using FoliagePro when my bottle ran out and started using Leaf Lux to try. I actually like how it is tea colored, because I can tell visually what dilution is in which jug. I have been using a half strength 3mL dilution to water my moss poles and the two capfuls for my semi hydro.

Omg large form albo? I need to buy you guys’s scissors. I actually use sharp razor blade and it works amazing. You just have to be careful with them when storing to reuse. And replace sometimes.

I love the informative content that you put out. Personally, I like natural variegation best. It reminds me of shiny hunting Pokémon. I don’t mind unnatural variegation, though. If it’s ethically collected or created, I just like the plants that I feel a connection with.🙂

I found this video while researching Monstera Standleyanna. I have both the "Albo" and "Aurea" varieties and I have to be honest... I don't see where they are really different. My Albo, which I've had for about 3 years, can develop leaves with the creamy yellowish variegation and my Aurea has leaves that look more white than yellow. They look like the same plant to me. I'd love for you to do a video on that plant if you have those in your collection. Standleyanna is one of my favorites (next to my Thai Con) because it grows really well and looks amazing climbing a pole. It's growth habbit is full and compact giving you a beautiful plant vs some climbers that have big node spacing. FYI, I too have had no issues with any of my Thai Constellations I've grown. They handle neglect well and grow faster for me than what I was originally led to believe they would.
